Under the slogan “Passion for Machining – Your Partner for CNC Units”, BENZ Tooling will be presenting the latest product innovations in woodworking at LIGNA from May 26 to 30, 2025.
Two of the highlights include new products in the field of nesting: the space-saving wonder SMART NESTING and the optimized SOFFIARO blowing nozzle unit open up new dimensions for innovative and efficient production processes.
BENZ Tooling is setting new standards: horizontal drilling and milling in the smallest machining spaces can finally be realized by machine. The new SMART NESTING product enables precise machining in the narrowest grooves and recesses directly on the machine – without a second clamping or the use of additional equipment. Complete machining in a single clamping operation also ensures greater accuracy.
With a spindle speed of 20,000 rpm and a torque of 2 Nm, machining operations are carried out quickly and efficiently.
Another highlight is the integrated blow nozzle, which first cleans the nest and then blows out the drill hole. The compact design guarantees maximum flexibility, as the unit fits on all known tool change units with holders for units.
The new trimming unit with blowing nozzles cleans processing areas even more effectively and reduces production costs by regulating the compressed air on the unit itself. The tool holder enables flexible use thanks to the combination of collet and hydraulic chucks. Therefore, both the use of a variety of cutting tools and high concentricity can be achieved.
A shortening of the design by 40% and an optimized bearing ensure smooth and vibration-free running. The tool can optionally be equipped with minimum quantity lubrication or several blowing nozzles. High-quality ceramic bearings ensure the blowing nozzle unit is extremely durable and has a long service life.
Maximum precision – BENZ Tooling presents its new mortising chain unit for cutting and setting very deep and shallow pockets. The automated chain tensioning system ensures that no additional chain lubrication is required, keeping the surfaces of the workpiece clean even during processing.
With BENZ i.tag, the digital nameplate, product data can be accessed on a mobile device any time and from anywhere. Thanks to the quick and easy handling, no special software is required, as the information is managed securely on an NFC tag.
A contact function via online form, e-mail or telephone makes it possible to get in touch with BENZ Service directly. By saving paper, BENZ i.tag supports the digitalization of processes and facilitates the sustainable handling of technical data and documents.
